At Look Good Feel Better, we know that true health care treats the whole person - not just the physical, but the emotional and psychological aspects too. While research and medical treatments are extremely important, there is a growing gap in care for the psychosocial needs of those facing cancer and its treatments.

Many women are told that the emotional roller coaster of losing their hair, eyebrows, lashes and experiencing dry and sallow skin is normal.

There’s nothing normal about this and we refuse to consider it vanity.

This is where Look Good Feel Better comes in. At the heart of the program is a complimentary two-hour workshop which provides tools and techniques on skin care, loss of brows and lashes, wigs and scarves and cosmetic hygiene. Much more than that - Look Good Feel Better also offers women a welcoming environment, where they can spend some much-needed time on themselves and connect with other women going through similar experiences.

If we want to continue these efforts, critical funding is needed – this is where you come in.

THE LEGACY

Just over twenty-five years ago, members of the beauty industry rallied together for a cause that was deeply personal to all of us. As an industry, we felt compelled to support women in the fight of their lives against cancer. Not only because these women were the consumers and purchasers of our beauty products, but more importantly, because they are our mothers, daughters, sisters, wives and friends.

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our supporters, hundreds of thousands of women and their families have benefited from Look Good Feel Better.
